NZFBOC announces 2026 conference dates

NZFBOC announces 'Familial Breast & Ovarian Cancer: Changing Landscapes' Conference 6-7 Nov 2026

24 March 2026 - NZFBOC has announced its third conference, Familial Breast & Ovarian Cancer: Changing Landscapes,  will be held on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th November 2026 in Christchurch.

The conference brings the professional community together in Aotearoa New Zealand at a time of rapid change in familial breast and ovarian cancer care. As genetic knowledge, testing pathways, and treatment options continue to evolve at pace, the conference offers a shared space to explore emerging evidence, challenge established practice, and envision better, more equitable care for individuals and families affected by inherited cancer risk.

The programme extends beyond the main conference to include interactive professional workshops and a dedicated consumer day, creating opportunities for deeper learning, practical skill-building, and meaningful engagement with lived experience.

Health professionals can join colleagues from across disciplines to connect, learn, and help shape the future of care in this fast-moving field, and those personally impacted by genetic cancer will have an opportunity to meet in-person and online.

Registrations of interest are now open.
