Our Story
A bit of background
The New Zealand Familial Breast and Ovarian Cancer Trust was established in June 2021 and is a registered charity (CC59419) under the Charities Act 2005.
We are driven by a single goal; to improve outcomes for whānau.
To achieve this we work closely with clinicians, scientists, families and communities across three key areas: Education, Impact and Equity.
In 2025, NZFBOC merged with another familial cancer charity The Gift of Knowledge to provide a
peer support network for New Zealanders impacted by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
What we do → making a difference
Furthering our cause and improving outcomes for whānau who are impacted by familial breast and ovarian cancer
